My furnace stopped working unexpectedly and Polar was able to send a technician out quickly to fix the issue. The technician was knowledgeable, quick, kind and overall it was a very pleasant experience. 10/10 would recommend this company to anyone needing fast, friendly and affordable help.

Called for a service on gas furnace. This company has a human that answers the phone and was so helpful in setting up the service call. They updated you, were on time for the appt and Tony the technician did a great job and was polite and answered any questions. I would highly recommend Polar heating and cooling.

When our furnace was diagnosed with a heat exchange crack, we knew we were in for a big bill. The company we called to diagnose and service our furnace was reputable and highly rated but we had a severe sticker shock with the quote. Wanting to be smart about this big ticket item, we searched around and called Polar because of their great reviews. Mico got a crew out to us right away. They confirmed the other companys diagnosis but when the bid came back it was significantly less. We went for it. They came out the next day which we appreciated because it was winter. Installers were super friendly and professional. They even finished earlier than they estimated. To summarize: Friendly, professional, timely and saved us thousands of dollars. Great experience.

Our 100 year old bungalow presented its challenges but the guys from Polar did a great job installing a ducted mini-split on the second level that is now heating and cooling better than our old unit ever did. I really appreciate that they were willing to crawl through our tiny attic access points to deliver exactly what we were looking for. The crew did a great job and we are very happy with the result.

Tony was on time and communicated very well throughout the process. He inspected and diagnosed the issue (on our attic furnace). He was able to repair it quickly with a used part on his truck (my furnace is 20 y.o.). So happy he could keep the cost down via a used part. We'll procrastinate HVAC replacement as long as possible! Polar (and Tony) had replaced our other (main) HVAC with a hybrid last Fall. It was great seeing him again and knowing he'd (Polar) provide top notch knowledge and experience. In short, this team ROCKS. Thus company has a social consciousness in all things.

My family and I LOVED working with Mico and his team at Polar Heating and Cooling! I called the company because it had such good reviews on Yelp and NextDoor. Now I understand why. Mico came to look at my HVAC unit within the same hour that I called him. He did a very thorough job of looking at all the components of the system, including counting the vents in every room. The quote he gave for replacing the whole system, including dual units upstairs and downstairs, was substantially less than a quote I received from another company. He was even able to provide upgraded smart thermostats at the same cost. Mico and his team members, including Tony and Eric, were excellent about communication. They kept me up to date with texts and phone calls every step of the way. They were punctual and hardworking. When the initial placement of the thermostat upstairs was in a location that was skewed towards warmer temperatures, the team came back and moved the thermostat to a different area of the wall and dampened some of the vents, which evened out the heat distribution in the various rooms. This was all done free of charge, despite the extra work. I was so pleased with Polar's work that I referred them to my sister, and she ended up hiring them for a job as well!

Expert company with an experienced team and service! Tony, Eric, Cesar and Mico were great to work with. Always a call or concerned text away when I was considering plans. Project work was done efficiently and respectfully. I really liked when working in the home and yard they were very protective of my grass and floors. Techs explained everything along the way and answered any of my questions. Will use them for future home projects!

Mico responded immediately to my texts and spent a lot of time with both the initial inspection/assessment and then a follow up Zoom call to talk through the estimates and walk through options. The pricing and products were quite impressive. Scheduling was very smooth. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and communicated throughout the installation. We are so pleased with the service we have received from Polar Heating and Cooling! The estimate Mico gave us for a new air conditioning system was excellent and very reasonable. He was so thorough in checking the house to make the necessary calculations to determine the correct size for the unit. They were able to get us quickly scheduled and came out to the installation at the appointed time. Cesar, Eric, and Patrick were skilled and friendly, and very respectful of our property, wearing booties when they came into the house, and checking with us regularly to make sure we were updated on their progress. They also checked in for our preferences with regard to placement of the unit and wiring. Great warranties (10 years on parts and labor!) They went the extra mile too, when Cesar discovered a heating duct that had come unattached at some point in the past and was now heating our crawlspace! He had parts and fixed it immediately! We highly recommend them!

From the first call to the installation, the service was excellent and timely!

We purchased a new furnace from Polar Heating and Cooling recently. First of all, their responsiveness was amazing. My wife and I obtained a couple of estimates before calling Polar and it took a week or two before anyone could come out for an inspection and problem assessment. We heard about Polar through NextDoor and called them. They came out the same day and did an inspection. Their assessment of problems associated with the old furnace was thorough and prompt. For future maintenance, they even had suggestions on how to minimize problems of a sump pump and piping that was next to the furnace. We decided to purchase a new furnace and it was installed two days later at a price significantly less than the previous two estimates.

They were able to come out same day and get my heat working. However, had to come back 4 days later when it stopped working again. Found the problem and refunded me money for a board ordered that wasnt the issue. Explained the problem well and told me options. I will use again.

Cesar who answered my call before 7 AM was very helpful and got me an appt for noon the same day, to repair my furnace that had stopped working. Tony came on time and was very efficient in checking out the furnace, identifying the problem as a burnt out inducer motor. He answered all my questions knowledgeably. Estimate appeared reasonable; he was able to get a replacement motor (OEM) and had the furnace running well in short order, with a reassurance that everything was in order. For Tony and Cesar, I rate their service a 5. It was a pleasure working with Tony. The reason I only put 4 stars is my discovery after the fact that the online replacement cost for the replaced part was 30-50% less than what I was charged. (I did not see their receipt for the replacement motor purchased. I called Cesar who explained that the mark up is to cover their 1 year warranty and to allow them to cover their business overhead and profit. Good enough for me and I would still highly recommend them. In the future if time permitted, I would ask if I could provide the part for them to install.

We hired Polar for a replacement of an old furnace. They were excellent at communication, highly responsive, and very easy to work with. I appreciated the owner and staff equally in their professionalism and ability to provide multiple quotes and replacement options.

We cannot recommend Polar enough. Our gas furnace went out at 7pm before a 29 degree night. I was up at 4:30AM cold in bed researching well-rated HVAC companies. By 6:00AM I had an appointment set for 10AM. Tony was efficient and informative. He let us know the issue was a costly repair, yet my husband and I felt good about the quoted price so we OK'd the fix. He had to run out for the specific part, and he got our system back up and running by 1pm. The experience was so positive, we signed up with them for our yearly maintenance going forward.

Tony & Mico came out to look into our furnace problem and to get us a quote for new equipment too. It was great to have such experienced and high caliber people out and I learned a lot. I also really appreciated that Tony explained so many details to me, so that I could better understand what was going on with our furnace.

He found a crack in the heat exchange using his camera equipment (and identified a potential serious CO2 leak) . He was prompt and spent a lot of time explaining the situation with me.
